What We Are
Abeja is a specialty roastery and café tucked into East Williamsburg at 349 Scholes St. It's not on a main street. It's not easy to stumble on. You find it when someone tells you about it — or when the algorithm sends you here.
We roast Latin American single origins in-house. Small batch. The roaster lives in the same room as the espresso bar. When you walk in, the whole operation is visible.
The Speakeasy Angle
East Williamsburg is the neighborhood past the neighborhood. After Bedford, after Lorimer, past where most people stop. It's where the warehouses became studios and roasteries and bars that don't advertise. Abeja is that kind of place — found by people looking for something real.
Events & Nights
The roastery doubles as an event space. Coffee cocktail nights, DJ sets, brand activations. The kind of thing you hear about from someone who was there. Reach us at abejacoffee.com to inquire about events.
Latin American Roots
Our sourcing is grounded in El Salvador and extends through Colombia, Guatemala, and Central America. Washed, natural, and honey-process lots — whatever's best from the season. Roasted here, at 349 Scholes.
